I aquired the nickname Rocko many years ago, a long lost memory as to why. As I started playing Battletech on line I added my shortened first name and Thus Rockolee came into being and has been in many online battletech games from the beginning.

NegSpace is short for NegativeSpace, which is the online handle I've had for the past... oh 14-15 years. It first came into existence, believe it or not, when I played Mechwarrior 2:Mercenaries in the old clans/leagues format (Black Death Unit for life!). I had asked a friend for help creating a handle and it was that or Ultimate Toaster. Negative Space was the obvious choice. It was shortened to NegSpace in subsequent games and programs that had character limitations. As such, I've been NegSpace since the late 90's.

I've been Padraig on various MekWars servers since about oh....2003 or 2004 I reckon. Just stuck.

It's the one I registered for MWO and Hawken, having heard of them before. Both games asked me for a pilot, and Sousuke Sagara was the first one to come to mind. Of course in worrying about getting the last name right I botched the first name. Oh well.

To be honest, not really sure where Fathomir came from. I just thought it up one day. Since then, which was a long time ago, I have always been known as Fathomir or Fath for short in almost everything that I have done online.

Mine stems from a time in gaming where I usually just used my initials for my name (ACS) and I also played with the handle Silver or Silver ACS, but then I played the first ratchet and clank game and loved it. One of the planets on the game was titled "Battalis" and I thought it was just a pun for Battle at the time. When you landed on the planet however, the guy greeting you called it planet Battalia. I enjoyed the planet the most as you got the rocket launcher there. So from that point on, Battalia became my handle... However, as times advanced, Battalia clones have been popping up. I wonder if its because of people seeing my name and liking it... or it was from somewhere else. It wasn't until later that I found out Battalia was a real word meaning an armed body of troops, or an order of battle. But that just made me love the name even more.

Ha, we're both named for planets
Thank you for your interest in battling the Oberon Federation. We have reached our daily quota of mech destruction for today; however more slots open up daily. Please try again tomorrow!

Mine comes from the dreaded martial arts style of the Black Pudding. Nothing can beat the Black Pudding.

The name started as the name of my First D&D character, created in 1991 then morphed into the name I used for the character online in 94 and it eventually became the name I use online for everything, enough people have recognized me by it that I keep using it, and periodically bump into old friends in a new game because of the name repetition.
If you want to play a Madcat, play a Stalker, Marauder or a Catapult, you wont be any more confused than the standard issue targeting computer. PAX' Enforcer.

Mine comes from my old job as a radiation technician.
I had an odd knack for finding alpha contamination.

Let's see, the semi-long story of my name starts with being an avid DDR/ITG2 player on arcade cabs seeing people enter little three character handles that were more memorable than mere initials, so when I felt that I had reached a decent enough level I started entering my initials as BUG. This, in turn, became my handle in Battletech Firestorm (Denver pilot forever!), but when I went to register on the Firestorm forums, I screwed up my email and ended up locking myself out of the username Bug. Thus, I added the Ice- part (which stems from a hint of Pokemon I suppose, but more from the little icy stalactite bugs you find in Phendrana Drifts in Metroid Prime, which I loved the aesthetics of), and this became my username for nigh everything. Unless it's taken on some site or another, then you can find me as FrozenBug or FreezeBug.

Whew...

Mine is an amalgamation of two of my three older online signatures - StreetBoyWill, a nickname I essentially gave myself for reasons unknown, and FlaretheElementalWolf, for a fancharacter created in 2010 as my personal embodyment in the Sonic universe. The third is Flashfire212 or Flashfire121, depending on where you go. Another is Tarriss Halcyon, my Mandalorian Jedi fancharacter.

So, yeah, just watch out for any of those, and when your Atlas steps in molten ashphalt and gets stuck - you just got Sarge'd.

I actually was going to use my default name that I used throughout the tabletops, but well, it's been awhile and decided to go with my call sign on the PC versions of MW. In the end I use SilverNite (a variant of SilverNight which was taken already oddly enough) more out of preference.

I am less known as Maktul most places now-a-days, and more Onesiphoros (mostly because there's at least one other person wandering around with Maktul as a handle), I was able to grab Maktul here which is good as it's a much shorter name, :P

As for where it came from, I was creating D&D character that was a kobold sorceror and needed a name. The deity of kobolds is Kurtalmak, with some subtracting and rearranging of letters I got Maktul.
School, why must you take me away from MW:T?

I have been using the names Jack Of Shadows and jick Of Shadows for years because of two things, really, the book Jack Of Shadows which I can never find a copy of and the card game schmear. In the card game teams bid and pick a suit. the jack of the chosen suit is the jack, obviously, but the jack of the same color suit is called the jick.
As far as I know, no one else has ever used these names, so if you see them online it is probably me.

II chose the name Kantorock because the spaces needed for "The Scary Dude" weren't allowed. Kantorock is a handle I created over ten years ago. How I came to that name is beyond me; I just did.

LOL, usually I go by Hawkeye (back in the 80s I was (and still am) a big MASH fan and Hawkeye Pierce was my hero :)
As Hawkeye was allready taken, Dunkelzahn (a dragon in the Shadowrun RPG) was my fallback

Mine is something I have used for gaming many long years. It is the one of the original spelling used by the Cherokee Indians for what is now known as Tennessee. Being that I am 1/4 Cherokee and from deep in the mountains not far from what was once the original capital of the Cherokee, it only seemed fitting that I use it.
