What is the Founder’s Program?
The Founder’s Program is a very special offer being made to players granting exclusive in-game items, bonus in-game currency, premium accounts and the chance to become a part of MechWarrior history! By joining the Founder’s Program you are helping to fund the continued development of MechWarrior® Tactics so that we can make the ultimate tactical Mech-Warfare game. As a Founder, you will be identified as a member of the 7th Kommandos Special Forces by your unique Commander Badge; this sub-group of the Wolf’s Dragoons strikes fear into the hearts and minds of the Inner Sphere leaders as they represent the best in infiltration and espionage tactics.
How long will the Founder’s Program be available?
In order to ensure that the Founder’s Program is truly something special for our most dedicated fans, it will only be available for a strictly limited time period. Once we determine an appropriate deadline, we will communicate this through the site, forum, and newsletters. We recommend buying early to avoid disappointment! Joining the 7th Kommandos is strictly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and will NEVER be made available again.
What do I need to play Mechwarrior Tactics?
MechWarrior Tactics is a Windows PC browser-based game using the Unity Engine. A graphics card supporting DX9.0c is recommended. MechWarrior Tactics will run on non-dedicated graphics architecture such as the Intel HD series.
We are striving to support all major PC browsers for Open Beta. At this time in Closed Beta, we strongly recommend using the latest version of Firefox for improved stability.
What is Closed Beta?
MechWarrior Tactics is currently in Closed Beta. Access to the Closed Beta is restricted. Anyone already in the Closed Beta will remain in the closed beta. Anyone that purchases a Founder’s Package will also gain immediate access to the Closed Beta.
During Closed Beta, we are actively developing and implementing new features. Data wipes will occur regularly (i.e. all progress will be lost and accounts will be reset to default levels). From time to time, you will likely run into severe problems whilst participating in the Closed Beta; we strongly encourage you to report these to us via the forums and support ticket! We will be working diligently to resolve these issues, it’s all part of the in-depth process of making the ultimate tactical MechWarrior experience! \
In Closed Beta, all accounts are roughly equal; we are not immediately distributing Founder’s content into the Closed Beta. Scrap and C-Bills will likely be awarded periodically for testing purposes during the course of Closed Beta. These grants will be removed when we move to Open Beta, at which point each account will receive everything they have paid for and all progress will be reset.
I’m excited! How long do I have to wait until I can get into Closed Beta?
Purchase of any Founder’s Package grants immediate access to the Closed Beta. A Beta invite will be sent to your account’s email address as soon as we have finished processing your purchase. Processing time is normally within minutes of purchase, however in the event you have not received the invite within 24 hours, please immediately contact us at billing@mwtactics.com
Can I purchase more than one Founder’s Package?
Each unique account is restricted to purchasing just one Founder package. If you wish to make an upgrade, please contact the support team for assistance at billing@mwtactics.com
When do I get to play with my Founder’s stuff?
What you receive immediately with purchase is access to the Closed Beta. This is your chance to jump in, get familiar with the game and most importantly, give us your valuable feedback via the forums as we shape the game for Open Beta.
All other items listed in the package will be delivered fresh to your account upon Open Beta.
You will also be given a bonus amount of Scrap depending on your Founder’s Package tier. This can be used in-game immediately upon your access to the Closed Beta. The Scrap that you gain from your Founder’s Package Tier during Closed Beta will be granted back to you upon Open Beta.
Veteran - 25k Scrap
Elite - 60k Scrap
Legendary - 100k Scrap
Can I earn or purchase the 7th Kommandos chassis, pilots and items separately from the Founder’s Packs?
Nope. This elite Mercenary Group and all their associated exclusive items are 100% reserved for our Founder’s members. They will never be made available again in any other form / package / offer.
What are the benefits of the Premium Account?
Premium Account access is granted to those who purchase any of the Founder’s Packages, with three different tiers of Premium Account associated with each unique Founder’s Package.
Veteran Package: 1 Month of Lance Tier Premium Account
Elite Package: 2 Months of Company Tier Premium Account
Legendary Package: 2 Months of Battalion Tier Premium Account

Premium Store Access will be granted upon Open Beta and is your golden ticket to access all current and future ‘Themed’ Stacs once they are removed from general store sale. Once a Themed Stac is no longer made available in the normal store, only Premium Account holders will be allowed access to this exclusive Premium Store to purchase ALL previously released rare and exciting Themed Stacs.

How do I buy a Founder’s package as a gift for another person?
At this time, we are not able to offer the Founder’s package gifting between accounts. Each warrior must make the decision to join the 7th Kommandos for themselves.
Can I buy a Founder's package if I am located outside North America?
The Founder's Program is available for the Global Market and everyone is welcome to play and buy a package but the game is supported only in North America as we can't guarantee optimal performance outside of our server area.
However, everyone is welcome to submit feedback. If you are submitting a ticket or posting feedback regarding connectivity or latency and are not in North America, it would be helpful to Support if you could specify where you are in the world and your general assessment of your connection at the time you have experienced the issue. Please note Support is only available in English and French, as we are located in Canada.
