Sorry, there used to be a thread for missing IDs. Not sure if this is a simialr issue.

Tried to Log in as Oberon, and it wouldn't work. I tried to recover password and it didn't recognize the email address tied to that account either. (it was a hotmail account, which has issue verifying the account)

Worked for me. I typed in my e-mail address and got a message that said, "Welcome Back!"

Good call, that did work. It had "Oberon" locked down, but I had to re register. Thanks for the help guys.

So how does one move from being a "Newbie" to being a "Member"? I'm not sure what the difference in statuses is. Does that have something to do with the number of posts?

This is NOT a bug. This was by design (and we were warned).

They kept the e-mail and nicks from the old board so you could keep your name (and who was on the old board), but you had to re-register on the new one.

Yes it is based on the number of posts you do to advance in title. 10 is member I think 30 advanced member and not sure after that.

Forget about the old forum accounts, all that matters is the commander name that you have registered. When you create an account just type in the same email you used before and it will automatically link to the commander name.

Weird, it won't let me reregister my existing commander name from the old boards. Any ideas?

If you put in the same email used to register the commander name it will come up with it automatically.
What was the commander name you had before?

Hmm, I tried the only 3 email addresses I would have used but no dice. Any issues with Firefox maybe? My commander name was jonnyonemove.
