I did a little reading last night.. I can't find anything official (as far as court records or the like).. but.. it appears that the FASA/HG settlement back in the day.. resulted in an unnamed company being the sole distributer in the US for the unseen's likenesses.

So, now we have the unknown in charge of the unseen...

I need a drink...

The Unknown in charge of the Unseen. And the Unknown is ultimately overseen by the Unfathomable. I dunno if it's a bad Word of Blake plot or the Ancient Ones working their way back into our dimension again....

All we need now is to start referring to the owner of the unknown, as 'he who shall not be named', and we've then included almost all the sci-fi cliches!

Ah okay...since I somehow made a post in the wrong thread and still magically managed to remain in context, I'll leave one of the memes here. ;)

Maybe this has something to do with it?

My only hope is that the customization rules (which themselves have been discussed to death in other threads) will be loose enough to let us put the loadouts of the Unseen into a mech of equal tonnage.

I kind of hate how this is always an issue. My primarily complaint about the any Mechwarrior franchise is the low amount of 'mechs as compared to Canon.

In brief, I WANT THEM ALL!

Well as already stated this is the major issue with any Battletech-based PC-game so far...with the exception of the MekPaks for MW4 maybe!

Personally i think you simply cant "replace" those unseens with other Mechs...we only can hope to see them in their reseen incarnation!

Better a ugly MAD than no MAD at all...but not all reseens are ugly, i liked the new BLR and WVR!

And again about those placeholder mechs: You simply cant replace a WVR-8K...was my favourite Solaris mech, i had no fear to face any mechs with it!

Maybe we are lucky since MWT seems to have its own design style, just take the STK...to me it doesnt look like a STK at all!
