I bought into the MWO beta two days ago and it just doesn't feel like MW it also doesn't feel like a beta; it feel more like an Alpha. You can't even leg the other mechs. I wish I could buy into this beta to cleanse my pallet of the other one. Or forfeit my beta of it for this one.

I can honestly say if your looking for the most authentic mechwarrior SIMULATION then MW LL should blow your mind.
It is rather trikky to set up though but MW LL is now my second favourite game of all time after Tribes 1.
Forget MWO and go play MW LL it really is phenomenal.
It is just a pity the MW LL community is so small but if your persistant pretty epic games get going every other day.

Still I cannot recommend MW LL highly enough if your looking for a serious Mechwarrior fix at the moment.

You can jump in and out of mechs as elementals and battle armours. WITH JETPACKS...
I cant understand why whoever owns the rights to mechwarrior hasnt done the smart thing given these guys a proper budget to make MW LL into the full AAA title that it deserves to be.
You have mechs, jets, vtols, artillery, tanks, vehicles, hovercraft. Battle armour and elementals.
The game starts with you having 50k cbills and you make cash various ways till you can buy better mechs.
The progression system alone makes the game highly addictive because you have to fight for better mechs.
MW LL is just an astoundingly well crafted and addictive game.
Just be warned setting the game up is difficult and the game has reasonably steep learning curve.
They just introduced puretech gameplay into MW LL which basically means clan verse innersphere tech.
I also play on a 55inch hdtv with a massive surround sound system and the weapon effects and sound effects in general have serious balls.
When I fire my mechs weapons on my sound system its a mindnumbingly visceral experience the guns and mech footfalls actually shake the walls of my house man.

I tried MWLL when it was released for public consumption, didn't like it then, but that's been well over 2 years ago... didn't think it was still going. I'll have to give it a try again some time.

Satchel charges - check
Tanks - check
Battle armours with JETPACKS - check
Jets AND VTOLS - check
Crysis wars is pretty cheap considering how much game you get in MW LL.
I should warn you though setting up MW LL is a little trickky.
If you need any help setting it up just post here and ill help out.
You also have to be a little patient finding a game the community population fluctuates all the time. Weekends are the best time to play as well. But there us definitely something cool about playing a game that is a little exclusive.

Hop over to the forums Mechlivinglegends.net, has a lot of info on installing etc...I'm the same name on the forums there and in game, feel free to say Hi or PM me and I'll help however I can
Haven't played MWO, felt the founders packs were overpriced for what they offered...and honestly forgot about this one till just now...Silly me, too many mech games in one year
The community is small but it's one of the better ones...
TeamSpeak3 is how everyone communicates, TS Outreach (forgot address) is a good place to hang out and chat it up
See you on the battlefield
